Bluetooth and floating car data signals can cause navigation systems to detect traffic flows. The road will then be reopened in the systems, leading traffic towards the work zone. Livia ensures a hard closure, preventing the road from being spontaneously reopened in the systems.

Any (car) road listed in a navigation system can be closed in Livia. This can be a complete closure in both directions, a lane closure in one direction, or a lane restriction. Bike paths can also be closed. In short, the entire work area can be made traffic-free.

It’s possible to designate digital destination areas. However, there must be a physical closure sign (C01) present. Through traffic is then no longer directed through this area. Destination traffic, i.e., traffic with the endpoint in that street, is still granted digital access.
